A Little Background…

This is the home of Eric, Melissa, Morgan, and Andrew on the World Wide Web.  We live in beautiful Naples, Florida where we have the pleasure of living near Eric’s Dad, Carl, and Melissa’s parents, Spencer & Diane.  

Why Naples? 

Eric moved here in 1984 with his parents.  Eric moved to Tampa for a brief period of time for a job transfer.  This is where Eric & Melissa met in 1990, then when a transfer back to Naples became available Eric & Melissa moved together.  They married in 1993 and have two children.  Morgan was born in 1995, and Andrew was born in 2000.     

Coincidently everyone is from upstate New York. Melissa and her family from the Rochester area, Eric and his family from the Plattsburgh area.  Melissa and her family vacationed in the Thousand Islands, Eric and his family vacationed in the Adirondacks. 

They have stayed in Naples for a long time, but since they are all from upstate New York, they are not sure their hearts belong here, though it is a beautiful place to live.  For the last 15 years Eric & Melissa have been vacationing in South Carolina near the town of Salem on Lake Jocassee.  It’s not the Adirondacks, but it’s so close, it’s a good second choice, and geographically, it’s much easier to get to from Florida! They bought a new Starcraft Pop-up camper and plan on spending more time together as a family in the great outdoors

The site…

It’s a work in progress; I don’t have a lot of time to work on it and after it had been up for over a couple years, and still not what I wanted, I decided to start over – you may find links that don’t work, and you may find parts of the old site, but I’m working on it again and hopefully I’ll get it right some day!
