First Post

OK, so this is my first post... I don't know why I started this except that I have a coworker who blogs frequently and I mentioned to him that I had read his blog and enjoyed it, he suggested I try.

Like most people I'm opinionated and as I've aged I like to comment on society as a whole. My wife has stopped listening to me and I need a new forum, so here I am. I'm enjoying some "down time" today while my wife and kids are upstairs playing Wii so I decided today to start this blog

We'll see what the future holds - hopefully something more interesting than this first post!
