A Day at the Beech!

There is almost nothing you can get for free any more. We stumbled across something pretty spectacular for free today and I want to thank the town of Beech Mountain.

We were looking for a place to take our children sledding and we found a wonderful place next door to the Beech Mountain Chamber of Commerce.

Children 12 and under can enjoy their free sledding hill. The hill is outfitted with its own snow making machines! Check out the conditions before you go - in this live webcam the sledding hill is directly across the street.

If you get there and you don't have a sled with you, there is a Mast General Store just up the road you should visit - what don't they sell?

Thank you Beech Mountain!
